What if my job search returns no vacancies? Can I email my resume anyway?
Yes. We encourage people to send in their resumes. Your application will be acknowledged and will remain on file. 

I'm having trouble submitting my application on-line, who can I contact?

Do you keep my details on file?
Yes. We keep resumes on file for a period of three (3) months and will contact you should a suitable position become available. Your application will remain on file in confidence.

Do I have to have a Police Clearance?
Yes. It is a requirement from the Department of Families and Communities that all staff and volunteers working with children and/or vulnerable adults must have a current satisfactory Criminal History Clearance. It is a requirement of employment with The Paraplegic and Quadriplegic Association of SA Inc, to hold a current Police Clearance which is no more than six (6) months old.

Do I need a current Senior First Aid Certificate?
Yes. It is a requirement of employment with HOMECARE PLUS that all Casual Support Workers have a current Senior First Aid certificate.

Do I need a Certificate III qualification to work with HOMECARE PLUS?
A Certificate III in Disability is desirable to work within this industry.

Why is the Support Worker Position casual?
Due to the nature of the work and clients, there are no permanent or regular positions available. Casual Support Workers are employed from one (1) hour per fortnight up to a maximum of seventy six (76) hours per fortnight.

Salary Packaging? 

You can salary package up to $16,050 of your income per Fringe Benefit Taxyear April-March.
